Arkansas State football has come a long way since its first season in 1937 when it completed at the junior college level. Most importantly, the program found a head coach in Blake Anderson, who was willing to stick around for a while. Anderson orchestrated Sun Belt titles in 2015 and 2016, cementing the Red Wolves as a top-flight Sun Belt program that now expects to play in a bowl game every season.
