Timeless Tubby

Delaware’s prestigious football history includes claimed national championships in 1946 and 1963. But most of Delaware’s accomplishments came under head coach Tubby Raymond, who was the head coach from 1966 to 2001. Despite the Blue Hens bouncing between the Division II and FCS levels, the Hall of Fame coach led Delaware to 300 wins during his tenure, a stretch that included nine conference titles and the Division II national championship in 1979.
