Godsmack Tickets
With some bands, their name tells you everything you need to know about them. Godsmack is certainly one of those bands. Just hearing their name will tell anyone who’s never heard their music that this is a band that knows how to rock hard and cares little for what critics think of them. That perfectly encapsulates Godsmack, a group that has been bringing its style of hard rock and heavy metal to fans for over a quarter-century. After all that time, the band is still going strong, creating new music, and going on tour, giving its loyal fanbase the same high-energy performances they delivered in the late 90s when Godsmack first burst onto the music scene.
Count the Accomplishments
On the surface, Godsmack may seem like just another hard rock band, but nothing could be further from the truth. While critics and fans have long compared them to the likes of Alice in Chains and other grunge acts, Godsmack has done a great job of separating themselves from the pack. They’ve created their own unique sound, moving past grunge without replicating classic heavy metal groups. The proof is in the pudding when it comes to Godsmack giving audiences a sound that’s unique, with three of the band’s albums hitting the top spot on the Billboard 200 charts. Godsmack has also been nominated for four Grammy Awards, including a nomination for Best Rock Song for their song “I Stand Alone,” receiving much-deserved credit from the critics.
Bringing Friends Along for the Ride
Even if the band’s best days creatively are behind them, it’s still a special occasion when their fans get a chance to see Godsmack perform live. The band pulls material from over half a dozen albums and isn’t afraid to play familiar covers, always giving audiences a great show. On top of that, Godsmack always hits the road with friends, so fans know that they are going to see more than one great act on stage. Godsmack has found itself on the Ozzfest stage on multiple occasions and is always willing to hit the festival circuit or join bigger tours, doing whatever it takes to perform for their loyal fans.
