About Journey

Journey Tickets

There were a lot of legendary rock bands on the scene between the 1970s and 2000s. Not many of them are still together, and the ones that are have changed or added members. That’s not true for this band, who’ve been committed to making music and serving their fans since 1973. They’ve had over 19 American Top 40 single hits in their career, and they’re not done making music yet.

What band are we talking about? Journey, of course! They’re still believin’ and rockin’ together 45 years later. Impressive, right? Right! Don’t miss out on your chance to see this legendary 5-member band in person.

Neal and Ross Make a Band

Neal Schon, who’s the lead guitarist, decided to make a band with Ross Valory (bass) in 1973. After a few years, they found Johnathon Cain (keyboard), and Steve Smith (drummer) to fill out their band. They rocked together in that formation until 1985, until their drummer, Steve Smith, left the band to pursue his solo career. Thankfully for all of us, the band all got back together in 1996, to record the album Trial By Fire and to tour the country.

Modern Journey

IT was in 2007 that Journey added Arnel Pineda to their group after Neal found him singing on YouTube. His joining came just in time for Journey to put out their 14th album, Revelation, which charted at #5 on the Billboard album charts. Adding Pineda was a good idea, and he’s been fully integrated into the band family since then.

The following years as a five-some has seen Journey put out more albums, do various concerts, and even perform with legendary band SANTANA on special occasions. And now, it’s your chance to see them in person. They’re on tour again, and you can get tickets! Use the Gametime app and Get Journey Tickets here.
