The Lumineers Tickets

It’s not every day that a stripped-down, folksy rock band becomes one of the biggest musical acts in the world - but The Lumineers are not your ordinary band. With their dulcet tones, the smooth voice of lead singer Wesley Schultz, and a string of songs that you can’t seem to get out of your head, The Lumineers led a revival of indie folk-rock. Of course, the group has proven to be far more than just a fad. The Lumineers have proven to have mass appeal and staying power despite not being particularly edgy or attention-grabbing. In fact, it’s hard to think of a more relaxing evening than being serenaded by the sweet sounds of The Lumineers and letting your find drift off into the world they’ve created with their songs.

Nothing But the Best

While it’s fair to say that The Lumineers have a sound that’s distinct from most of their musical contemporaries, the band’s sound is derived from some of the all-time greats. The Lumineers cite the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Bruce Springsteen, and Leonard Cohen as influences, as well as rock bands like Pearl Jam, Talking Heads, and Guns N’ Roses. While many of those acts aren’t exactly similar, The Lumineers have managed to extract elements of each of them and turn them into soulful and romantic songs that have connected with a wide audience, some of whom probably never thought they would like an acoustic and introspective band like The Lumineers.

Made for the Big Stage

On the surface, The Lumineers may not seem like the type of band that puts on a raucous live show. But nothing could be further from the truth, which is why they were invited to be the opening act for U2’s Joshua Tree Tour 2017. The band has also contributed several songs to various movies and TV Shows over the years, as their music is perfectly poignant, making it a great fit for emotional moments on fictional shows. Of course, The Lumineers released their own short film in 2017, combining several of their music videos into one, proving how brilliantly crafted the band’s music is and how it connects with audiences in a special way.
