From Humble Roots to Mega-Huge

Rolling Loud’s showrunners are a pair of childhood friends made good. Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif came up together in California, drawn to each other thanks to their common interests of surfing, skateboarding, and, of course, hip-hop. These two jumped into the event promotion circuit at a young age, delving into professional promotion in 2010. While they saw some major setbacks along the way, their success knows no bounds – today, Rolling Loud is one of the most popular, well-known hip-hop music festivals anywhere in the world. Not bad for a couple of kids from Cali!
