Britney Spears Tickets

Britney Jean Spears wasn’t born famous. She earned her way to the top with her talent and the help of her father, who acts as her manager. She’s been on the grind for a long time, as she started singing as soon as she could talk. The small-town girl from McComb, Mississippi, has come a long way, from performing at local fairs to having her residency in Vegas. She even managed to launch a moderately successful career for her sister Jamie Lynn, as an actress along the way.

The Mickey Mouse Club

Everyone faces rejection, even Britney Spears. She got her first dose of it when she was eight, after being denied a spot on Disney’s Mickey Mouse Club, which she thought would launch her career. It turns out that it just wasn’t yet her time to shine as she re-auditioned and was accepted onto the show three years later.

Her appearance on the show made her a familiar face, which helped when she launched her solo career in 1998. She hit the scene with the song “…Baby One More Time”, which was an immediate hit. Just one year after her debut album came out, two artist-type awards at the Billboard Music Awards. For someone so young and so new to the scene, it was a pretty good start!

Further Success

Though Britney has been the center of her fair share of controversies, like that time she shaved her head, her music has always been well-received. From her sophomore album “Oops I Did it Again” to her more recent and “personal” album Britney Jean, she has more awards and more fans than most performers her age.

And now, you can see this beloved performer most nights of the week at her Vegas residency titled, “Britney: A Piece of Me” at Planet Hollywood. If you don’t want to see her, that’s your prerogative, but we think you’ll regret it.
