If there’s one band that represents the absolute zenith of hard-rocking, harder-partying, glammed up 80’s-era metal, it’s Motley Crue. Constantly getting into trouble for decades now, the members of this flamboyant, hedonistic group of talented social rejects have included some of the legends of rock: Vince Neill, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Mick Mars, and despite their reputation as completely immoral screwups they’ve managed to sell over 100 million albums worldwide.

Uppers, Downers, and Out of Towners

The history of Motley Crue reads like an absolute train wreck. Just about every member of the band has had run-ins with the law, struggled (or enjoyed) substance abuse, been exposed to controversies left and right, and fought amongst themselves over the smallest things. Somehow, though, the band stayed together from 1981 through 2016, even with Neil and Lee taking years-long breaks just to get away from the rest of the band. But the allure of the spotlight was too much for these intrepid rockers – in 2019, after just two and a half years of “splitting up, no really,” guess who got back together, headed into the studio, and began rocking out once more? You guessed it, these grungy old dudes!

There’s No Stopping the Crue

That’s right: the Crue is back and showing no signs of going away any time soon. Somehow these four yahoos have found a way to bury the hatchet, at least for now, and they’ve launched on yet another incredible tour. If you’ve never seen Motley Crue in concert, you’re missing out in a major way. Known for their use of gonzo stage settings, pyrotechnics, and even flamethrowers and roller-coaster drum kits, it’s a can’t miss this spectacle.
