Buckeye Country Superfest Tickets
Let it never be debated that the state of Ohio loves country music. For proof of this, all you have to do is check out the annual Buckeye Country Superfest. Since 2015, this has become an annual event for country music fans from all over the Buckeye State and bordering states. While it’s not the oldest music festival in the country, it has quickly developed a reputation for being a can’t-miss event. Every year, at least a handful of prominent country artists come to the state’s capital of Columbus for a performance that everyone in attendance will remember forever. Even though the two-day festival changed to a one-day concert in 2019, Buckeye Country Superfest continues to be one of the best events on the calendar for country music fans.
The Horseshoe Fits
The venue is part of what makes Buckeye Country Superfest such a special occasion. Ohio Stadium (AKA The Horseshoe) is typically thought of only as a college football stadium. But when major recording artists come to Columbus, they perform at Ohio Stadium. The likes of Pink Floyd, Billy Joel, Elton John, U2, Metallica, and Taylor Swift are all on the short list of performers who have graced the stage at Ohio Stadium. The fact that Buckeye Country Superfest gets the same venue as those superstars is a testament to the stature and popularity of the event. It also leaves the door open for more than 60,000 country music fans to enjoy Buckeye Country Superfest!
Shining Stars
During its history, Buckeye Country Superfest has done a great job getting great headliners for the show but also getting different country artists to come, making every year a different concert. Past headliners have included Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, George Straight, and Luke Combs. Most of the time, none of them have ever performed in Columbus before, making it a new experience for everyone. Of course, what puts Buckeye Country Superfest over the top is getting opening acts that would ordinarily be tour headliners. Among the opening acts in the event’s history are Rascal Flatts, Cascade Pope, Parmalee, Lady Antebellum, Florida Georgia Line, Zac Brown Band, Jana Kramer, RaeLynn, and countless others. It’s what makes Buckeye Country Superfest more than just another concert and an event that all country music lovers should experience in person.
