Suicideboys Tickets

With a name like Suicideboys (or $uicideboy$), one might assume that their music isn’t for everyone. But while that might be true, any music lover should at least give their music a chance before writing them off. The duo of Scrim and Ruby da Cherry, which makes up the Suicideboys, has truly created a unique sound that combines punk, hip-hop, and some of the more intense and hardcore music genres out there. At the same time, they pull no punches when it comes to their lyrical content, laying it all out there, even if it makes people uncomfortable. While they are mostly a group with a cult following that’s ignored by the mainstream, musical acts don’t gain a cult following the way the Suicideboys have unless there’s something special about them. If you ever have a chance to see them perform live, take it, and you’ll learn what makes them so special.

A Little Bit of Everything

Defining the exact genre of Suicideboys is not an easy task. There are clear elements of hip-hop and hardcore rock in their music, although neither genre would completely embrace what they produce. There is also a melancholy nature to their songs that some would almost describe as being akin to emo. That’s because the nature of their lyrics addresses topics not often seen in hip-hop, although the group has described their music and lyrical content as being akin to therapy and connecting to audiences on a personal level.

The Set List

Even though the Suicideboys have released multiple studio albums and found some commercial success, the group has gained its underground following on the back of EPs and mixtapes. They’ve also been more than happy to collaborate with other artists, mixing their unique style with any artist willing to work with them. The result is an incredible catalog of songs that the Suicideboys can pull out when performing live. Of course, there are a few songs that their fanbase prefers to others. But even for longtime fans of the group, there is no telling what songs the Suicideboys will pull from their repertoire when performing live, always keeping things interesting and leaving the door open for a surprise.
