Yale Football Tickets
Believe it or not, the Yale Bulldogs are one of the most important programs in the history of college football. Nowadays, most fans see them as an Ivy League school with cheap Yale football tickets being widely available. However, the Bulldogs claim over two dozen national championships and have won more games than almost every other program in college football history. Just for good measure, the Bulldogs remain one of the top football teams in the Ivy League, keeping last-minute Yale football tickets in high demand.
We are the Champions
Yale has been playing football since 1872, just a few years after the first recorded college football game between Rutgers and Princeton. Walter Camp, who is regarded as the “Father of American Football,” played at Yale and later became the program’s first head coach in 1888. Yale claims to have won 27 national championships with all but one coming between 1872 and 1909. The first 10 of those championships came before the Bulldogs had a formal coach, with Yale winning three more during the five years that Camp served as head coach. Under Camp, Yale recorded a record of 67-2, making them arguably the first true powerhouse in college football history.
The Modern Bulldogs
The days of Yale being a national power have long since passed. But the Bulldogs are still one of the marquee programs in the Ivy. Yale maintains bitter rivalries with Ivy League foes Harvard and Princeton with both rivalries dating back to the 1870s. Most importantly, the Bulldogs have won over a dozen Ivy League championships since the conference was formed in 1955. Under head coach Tony Reno, they won the conference in both 2017 and 2019, leaving little doubt that Yale remains one of the teams to beat in the Ivy League.
