Louisiana Tech Basketball Tickets
Even if most college basketball fans don’t realize it, the Louisiana Bulldogs are building something special. The days of cheap Louisiana Tech basketball tickets and an apathetic fanbase are coming to an end. Even without much history or pedigree, the Bulldogs are poised to become one of the next great mid-major programs to capture the attention of the entire college basketball world. In the years to come, last-minute Louisiana Tech basketball tickets will be all the rage in the Bayou State.
The Old Bulldogs
Team-wise, Louisiana Tech has experienced limited success for much of its history, but the Bulldogs have had more than a few star players over the years. Pro Basketball Hall of Famer Karl Malone is undoubtedly the most famous basketball player in Louisiana Tech history. However, he’s far from the only one. Longtime NBA players P.J. Brown, Paul Millsap, and Randy White all played for the Bulldogs before going pro. The likes of Mike McConathy, Mike Green, and Jackie Moreland are also among the All-Americans to play at Louisiana Tech, giving the program a long history of developing exceptional players.
The Turnaround
Years of mediocrity for Louisiana Tech began to change with head coach Mike White. Before leaving to become the head coach at Florida, White coached the Bulldogs for four seasons, compiling a record of 101-40. He led Louisiana Tech to three straight NIT appearances while also helping with the transition into Conference USA. More importantly, he laid down a strong foundation for successor Eric Konkol, who is poised to take Louisiana Tech to the next level and make the Bulldogs a team that fans need to watch closely every March.
