Few shows are as packed with talent as the American Music Awards. We’re talking about both the audience and the schedule for the night. Though they’re much younger, the American Music Awards (AMA’s) almost surpass the Grammy’s in terms of award-ceremony importance.

That’s an impressive feat as the Grammy’s started in 1959, while the AMA’s have only been around since 1973. We’re coming up on the 50th anniversary of the Dick Clark-created award show, and we can’t wait to see the performance they have in store.

Attending the AMAs

Even if you don’t make it to the 50th-anniversary show, seeing the American Music Awards in person, and being in the same room as all that talent, is an achievement.
