Rob Zombie Tickets
With a name like Rob Zombie, once fans learn about you, there’s no way that they’ll ever forget you. Of course, Rob Zombie’s music can be just as effective in that sense as his name. Born Robert Bartleh Cummings, he spent most of the 80s and 90s as the lead singer of the band White Zombie before launching a solo career - one which made him an undeniably notable figure in the history of heavy metal music. Along the way, Rob Zombie has written and directed several movies, mainly in the horror genre. But he’s always been a musician, first and foremost, releasing more than a dozen solo albums and tirelessly touring when he hits the road. All of that has made Rob Zombie an unforgettable artist in the heavy metal and hard rock genres, not to mention someone whose fans are always excited to see him perform.
First Impression
After experiencing commercial success as the lead singer of White Zombie, it was fair to question whether Rob Zombie could replicate that success as a solo artist. However, his debut solo album Hellbilly Deluxe became an instant hit and an all-time classic. The album’s first song, “Dragula,” remains a career-defining song for Rob Zombie. His song “Living Dead Girl” also helped establish Zombie as a solo artist who fans had to take seriously. It gave him the attention of heavy metal and hard rock fans, and Rob Zombie has been able to keep their attention for more than two decades.
Horror Rock
It’s no secret that Rob Zombie is a unique artist. It’s what made him a star early in his career and why fans still flock to see him perform live today. He’s incorporated his love of horror movies into his music in a way that few artists would even think to do. His song lyrics often have a narrative reminiscent of horror movies that only a filmmaker could pull off. Somehow, he’s also been able to blend haunting noises and danceable rhythms into heavy metal music, creating a sound that’s all his own. While his songs and stage shows are based on horror movies, a Rob Zombie concert is all about dancing and having a good time while maybe being just a little frightened. It’s one of the reasons why after all of these years, Rob Zombie is still a relevant artist and one of the best hard rock musicians to see live.
