Every great artist must suffer in some manner to become great and this is no exception for the American rapper Logic. Sir Robert Bryson Hall II lived in the world of hard knocks. Growing up in Rockville, Maryland his childhood helped to spawn some of his most iconic lyrics. Producing mixed tapes and struggling to make a different life for himself, he finally scored a recording deal with Visionary Music Group in 2010.

Logic soon released other mixed tapes over the course of three years that sparked the interest of Def Jam Recordings. Finally in 2014, Logic’s album “Under Pressure” hit number four on the Billboard 200 and was certified as ‘gold.’

Never Looking Back

Logic gives hope to those who see themselves as failures. Logic’s younger years weren’t peaches and cream, instead, he lived with absent parents and surrounded by drugs. He pushed himself out of that life and focused on his musical talents that brought him through the rough patches. Today he is working with talents like Eminem, YG, Yo Gotti, G-Eazy, and the remaining members of Wu-Tang Clan. With hit songs racing up the Billboards, Logic seems to be on top of his game.

In 2019 Logic continues to push the envelope open and decided to release a book entitled “Supermarket”. The book became a best-seller and was accompanied by a soundtrack that readers could listen to as they read.

Going the Distance

There are some who would give up anything for success and for Logic that sacrifice came with the termination of a five-year relationship. The rapper is 100% dedicated to his music, and it shows with each new song he releases. He proves that one can have it all with determination and desire. Through the blood, sweat, and tears, Logic has gone above and beyond where he came from and has no reason for ever looking back.

Logic continues to stun his audience with fresh beats and inspiration that only comes from one who isn’t afraid to face their demons and come out on top.
