All Them Witches Tickets
As you may be able to tell from their name, All Them Witches is not your classic Nashville-based band. They’re not a country-only group that got their start at the Bluebird cafe while wearing cowboy boots.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that – but this band is just a little bit different. They wanted to show Nashville that you can be more creative with Country roots than the artists are proving on the radio. That’s where their idea of a blues/rock band with some country influences came from – and people ate that change up! Their success in such a one-note market shows that there’s a niche out there for everyone if you just stick with it and make quality music.
January 6, 2012
The band first got together in early January of 2012, and as you can see above, they actually remember the date. Maybe that’s because they didn’t just jam together for a while after getting together – they immediately started working on an album. That album was Our Mother Electricity, which was produced and distributed by a German recording company.
As their recording label choice would show, the band wanted to do things a little bit differently. They recorded their second album with a cassette recorder. Surprising, since it’s something that most people didn’t even know how to use in 2012.
New West in the South East
Though they were doing well enough for themselves on their German album label, they signed to American New West records in 2017. They put out the album, Through the War, in 2017, which has been their most successful album to date. But who knows if their next one will outperform it? The band is constantly changing and evolving, which is one of the things we love most about them.
