Young the Giant Tickets
Even if they may not be a household name, there are few rock bands that have the loyal following that Young the Giant has. Like so many great alternative bands before them, the group hails from Southern California. Slowly but surely, they’ve built up a large fanbase and crept their way into popular culture. They’ve done it the old-fashioned way with great songs and a lot of touring. That experience on the road has made Young the Giant one of the best bands to see live. Even fans who aren’t familiar with their material walk away from their shows impressed. There is an energy that Young the Giant brings to the stage that can’t be replicated on their albums, which is why getting Young the Giant tickets and seeing them perform live is the best way to experience the band.
The Jakes
During their early days, Young the Giant went by The Jakes, which was the band’s original name. The Jakes was a rather clever acronym for the first names of the group’s five original members. While performing as The Jakes, they started to gain recognition for the first time. Songs like “Texas Tea” and “Cough Syrup” got airplay on the radio and were featured on television shows. From there, the band hit the road, opening for some bigger bands as a way to improve their notoriety. After changing their name to Young the Giant, the group caught a few breaks by appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and playing at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2011, opening the door to stardom.
Never Give Up
Young the Giant has undergone several lineup changes over the years. But, finding a steady drummer has proven to be particularly difficult for the group. But lead singer Sameer Gadhia and guitarist Jacob Tilley have been there since the beginning, with Eric Cannata and Francois Comtois coming aboard soon after that. Regardless of success or failure, the group just keeps moving forward with another album, another music video, or another tour. That kind of perseverance has given the band character, which is what shows every time they play live, which is why Young the Giant is such a treat to see whenever they go on tour.
