Tash Sultana Tickets

Thousands of artists post their work on the internet, and only a handful get discovered. Tash Sultana (born Natasha Sultana) was one of the lucky ones. Her one-woman-band and sultry vocals caught the attention of the public in 2016 when a video of her song “Jungle” went viral on Facebook. When it comes to musical skills, there’s a reason she was discovered over the other thousands of artists: there’s almost nothing she can’t play – or do. She’s a bassist, a woodwind artist, a drummer, and a vocalist all at the same time (thanks to looping technology).

Sultana’s Savior: Music

Tash is a young artist, but her life hasn’t been without its challenges. She sought help for her addictions at the age of 17 and turned to music when she was done with rehab. Music was her savior, at least when it came to drug usage. That’s one reason people love her sound so much – they can hear how much value she puts into it. That’s why, after “Jungle” went viral, no one could get enough of her. She played at a host of music festivals in 2016 and 2017 before putting out her first EP.

Notion and Beyond

That first EP came out in December of 2016, and all six tracks were well received. With her EP’s success and popularity on the music festival circuit, she scored a record deal with New York’s Mom + Pop Music. That was in 2017, and she hasn’t stopped touring or making music ever since. She’s won a handful of awards in the short time she’s been on the scene, including the Aria Awards “Breakthrough Artist” and “Best Blues and Roots Album.” Her newest album is doing well, and she recently put out a hot single. If you want to see her in person, you’re in for quite a performance as she’s known to live-loop some of her instruments on stage, an impressive feat.
