About Parking for San Francisco Giants

Heading to a San Francisco Giants game at Oracle Park? Make your game day hassle-free by planning your parking in advance. The stadium features numerous parking lots and decks, all within a short walking distance to the action. To secure your spot and consider purchasing a parking pass on Gametime. Arrive early to navigate traffic smoothly and enjoy the pre-game atmosphere. Go Giants!

Which sections get the worst wind once the sun drops?

Anything along the water is the main thing to think about. Lower level seats down the right-field line, Club level near the arcade, and anywhere with a clear shot to the bay will feel colder and windier once the sun’s gone. It’s beautiful, but it comes with consequences. Seats farther back behind home plate or along the third-base side tend to stay calmer and warmer. No section is ever fully safe, but some definitely punish you less than others.

How early should I get there if I want to watch batting practice?

If you actually want to see meaningful BP, plan to be inside the gates right when they open, usually about two hours before first pitch. The Giants don’t always take full BP at home, but when they do, that early window is it. After that, it’s mostly infield work and routines. Getting there early also buys you time to wander, settle in, and let the park work its magic before the game starts to tighten up.

Will it still be freezing even if it’s sunny all day?

Yes. Almost always, yes. Warm afternoons can flip fast once the sun drops behind the park and the wind comes in off the bay. Even on perfect-looking days, night games regularly end up cold by the middle innings. Bring layers. A jacket you think you won’t need is the one you’ll be grateful for around the seventh. This is just part of the deal at Oracle.
