Liam Gallagher Tickets

So many great bands started with a group of guys attending the same British high school. The band Oasis (led by the Gallagher brothers) is no different. Liam got his start with an already-established band at his school, Rain, and went on to create Oasis from there. Oasis’ success became a family affair after the band added Liam’s brother Noel who had learned a thing or two as a roadie for Inspiral Carpets. The group of the two Gallaghers, Paul McGuigan, and Paul Arthurs set out to make the album that would be the smash hit “Definitely Maybe.”

Liam in Oasis

That first debut album became the fastest-selling debut in the UK- a title that still holds (barely) to date. It was playing everywhere and giving them stable success, but Liam wasn’t part of that stability. Some of the band’s success is owed to the British media’s concentration on Liam’s drug-fueled behavior. For better or for worse the public was dying to know what Liam and his band would do next. A year later the band put out “What’s the Story Morning Glory?” with the single, “Roll with It”. That single switched back and forth in the top spot on the charts competing with the band Blur’s “Country House”. Liam and Oasis put out four more albums until they “broke up” in 2010.

Beady Eye and a Solo Career

The band Oasis never really broke up but rather transformed into Liam’s next venture, Beady Eye. They released their first album in 2011 along with Liam’s personal fashion brand. During the Beady Eye years, Liam claimed he’d never go out on his own. But after two years with Beady Eyes and that many albums they broke up and he changed his mind. It wasn’t until 2017 that Liam released his first solo album “As You Were” which did well enough to chart. His solo success was partly made possible by his pre-album appearances on charity concert stages and friendship with Chris Martin from Coldplay. After his second album “Why Me? Why Not?” Liam continues to tour.
