Decking the Halls Since 1995

Never heard of the Jingle Ball Tour? It’s been a thing since its inception in 1995, back when New Jersey radio station WHTZ thought it up. The idea: a whirlwind national tour stretching through the month of December, filled with one-day stops and featuring incredible artists. It was so popular that iHeartRadio took over branding in 2011, with many affiliated radio stations across the country also participating.

The first Jingle Ball concert, which took place in the Meadowlands Arena in New Jersey in 1995, was pretty epic. We’re talking top-flight ’90s acts like Alanis Morissette, Blues Traveler, Bush, Collective Soul, the Dave Matthews Band, the Goo Goo Dolls, Hootie & The Blowfish, Natalie Merchant, and Soul Asylum. The lineup has only gotten more amazing every year since!

The lineup differs from year to year, but you’re likely to get some big names. In the past few years, the Jingle Ball tour has featured artists like Katy Perry, Khalid, Lil Nas X, Shawn Mendes, Halsey, Lizzo, BTS, Taylor Swift, and others. In other words, you’re guaranteed to have one hell of a good time!

Not only that, but you’re not going to have to go far to catch one of these great tour dates. Again, tour stops will change slightly from year to year, but if you live near a major metropolitan center like New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, or Minneapolis the Jingle Ball will be coming to your neck of the woods, just like it does every year.

So put down the egg nog and forget that ugly sweater – get ready to rock out at this year’s Jingle Ball instead!
