Southern Florida is slept on. Sure, people love and talk about Miami for beach holidays, and bananas nailed to walls, but it deserves more credit. Not only is it home to some of the most breathtaking beaches in the world, but it’s full of creativity.

So many things came out of South Florida that you would never know about if it wasn’t for people who were raised to take a chance. Alex Di Leo is one of those people who was raised to believe that taking a chance on something is much better than doing nothing. And, thankfully, that chance he took panned out. Now he’s one of the most promising up and coming artists in the state, if not the country – and he’s not even 25!

Gen Z’s New Star

Alex was born in the late ’90s, which means he’s right on the edge of the Millenial/Generation Z divide. Growing up between those populations has allowed him the hustle we know from Millenials, as well as the humility and realism of gen z.

And you can hear that in his music! Every song that Alex puts out takes you to a different place. Where that place is may very much have to do with where Alex was when he wrote the song. The twenty-something year old loves to travel and says he’s most inspired by new sights, sounds, and tastes.

If you can name Alex’s albums, you’ll see what we did there in the title of this section. If you don’t, that’s okay – there’s still a lot of time to get on the train for this rising star. His love for travel is a good thing for fans. He likes to play a show in the city (or country!) he’s exploring.
