The Denver Broncos have long been synonymous not just with the city in which they play but its high elevation, too. From the first days of the franchise in 1960 up until 2000, the Broncos played at Mile High Stadium – making it clear that the team is (literally?) on top of the world. Even today, the team’s current stadium still includes the nod to their hometown and high-flying spirit.
