Amanda Miguel Tickets
Not everyone in the Latin scene is from Mexico, though due to the country’s size, most are. Amanda is from a small town in Argentina but spent most of her childhood in Buenos Aires. While growing up in Buenos Aries, she started singing to entertain herself. Her parents realized she had a beautiful voice and encouraged her to pursue music. Unlike many children, Amanda listened to her parent’s encouragement and started studying music professionally in her teens.
She was so successful and passionate about music that at 16, she studied music at the Buenos Aries Conservatory – a big deal in that part of the world. Thank goodness she did, since that’s where she met the person who would give her the first taste of success.
Verdaguer and Mediterraneo
While studying at the conservatory, Amanda met Verdaguer, who was part of the band Mediterraneo. He was so blown away by her talent that he invited her to join the band, alongside Valeria Lynch. While working with the band was a good start, as they already had an established fanbase, it wasn’t enough for Amanda. Her talent and personality demanded the spotlight. And she went in search of it.
Her Solo Career
Not everyone’s band is so supportive when they go solo. Luckily, the other members of Mediterraneo wanted to see the young Amanda succeed. With their help, she put out her debut single “Papá, Cuando Regreses,” followed by the album El Sonido, Vol. 1. It was an astounding hit that still graces radio stations across Latin America today. As her career took off, Miguel moved to Mexico to be closer to the hustle and bustle of the Latin music industry – and it’s where she still resides today.
