His Own Way

With guitars always in plain sight in his home growing up, Allan was, in many ways, destined to be a musician. In fact, by age 13, he was performing in honky tonk bars along with his father. After high school, Allan continued to play in small clubs rather than bigger venues because it would have meant no longer covering classic country songs. In the end, it was a cassette tape Allan left in the glove box of a truck while working as a car salesman that set the wheels in motion for his first record deal.
