They won “Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Duo or Group,” at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, as well as “Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Duo or Group” that same night. And while 2018 was a good year in terms of awards, that’s not what the band is after. They’re more interested in sharing their historical and cultural sounds around the world, keeping their traditions alive.
