Charleston, South Carolina isn’t just good for photoshoots, ghost tours, and southern drawls. It’s also the birthplace of some famous bands! Shovels and Rope, The Blue Dogs, and All Get Out (most importantly) hail from this historic southern capitol.

There a lot of loud colors and sounds in Charleston, though, admittedly, some of the more colorful facades have faded with time. One of those loud sounds is All Get Out, a band that capitalizes on their melodic ability to play badass guitar riffs. Listening to one of their songs is like walking through Charleston. You think you know what to expect and then all of a sudden, you turn a corner and something surprises you.

Hussey and Friends

You know those people who will go to whatever ends possible to keep their private lives private? Well, Nathan Hussey is not one of those people. He never has been, and you can certainly tell that when you listen to his music. He’ll tell you that himself, too. If you ask him to describe his band, he’ll tell you that they’re personal and loud. If you ask us, more people should be the same way, but that’s another story.

Nathan and his bandmate, Kyle Samuel, are dedicated to writing about all the parts of life there are. They’re not going to exclude something because it was embarrassing or dramatic – and their fans love them for that.

To make a very non-genre appropriate Drake reference, listening to any music by All Get Out will get you in your feelings. You’ll either feel like you’re experiencing what the musicians are or will be reminded of a similar situation in your life.
