Almost Queen Tickets
You’ve heard of Elvis impersonators, you’ve heard of Madonna impersonators, but what about Queen impersonators? Yes, they exist too.
Why wouldn’t they? Queen was one of the most influential bands of all time! And thanks to the movie that came out in 2018, their legacy is reborn. Now instead of just late boomers and early Millenials jamming out to Queen, we’re seeing Gen Z getting in on the action, too. Mamma mia, mamma mia! That’s a lot of new Queen fans. And while the newer fans will never get to see the legendary foursome in person (RIP), they can get tickets to see Almost Queen.
Who is Almost Queen?
Almost Queen isn’t made up of any of the original members of the band. Sadly, the band lost their singer Freddie Mercury to AIDS in 1991 and made their last album together in 1995. They’re not getting the band back together anytime soon that we know of, so seeing Almost Queen is your best bet.
It consists of John Cappadona, who plays as Roger Taylor, Steve Leonard as Brian May, Joseph Russo as Freddie Mercury, and Randy Gregg as John Deacon. Each member is highly committed to their musical role and has studied their Queen character for years on end. They even dress and do their hair the same as the original members did!
