Bruce Springsteen

Before pop artists abounded and anyone could get famous on YouTube, there was one man who rose above the rest: The Boss. Bruce Springsteen has influenced many of today’s country, pop, and rock musicians, with classic songs like "Born in the U.S.A." and "Dancing in the Dark." It's possible that no other solo act has influenced music the way he has, nor does any other boast the ability to blend blues with rock so fluidly. No doubt, Springsteen is one of the greatest artists of our time.

The Boss

Born in 1949, Frederick Joseph Springsteen set new limits to what an artist could do. With his hit album “Born to Run” debuting in 1975, he set the bar for aspiring artists and broke into the industry with a bang. Influenced by Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley, Springsteen made the choice to pursue music early. It was after watching the Beatles perform on television that he went out and bought a guitar, determined to learn how to use it. Little did he know that this spark of inspiration would lead down a path of fame and glory. With a mind for business and the talent of an incredible musician, Springsteen rose up from his humble beginnings and blazed a trail for today’s popular artists to follow.

Today’s the Day

Today, millions of people around the world flock to Springsteen shows to hear the love and vibrancy he offers to his fans. Over the course of his career, Springsteen has won 20 Grammy Awards, a Tony Award, several Golden Globes, and has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Better yet, Springsteen continues to create awesome songs. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have also earned a segment on Sirius Radio. The segment started in 2005 and is aptly named E Street Radio. Sirius plays old hits from the band as well as interviews and rare tracks for diehard fans to plug into on the go.

With such a huge success, it’s no wonder Bruce Springsteen tickets sell out fast. He is, after all, the embodiment of American pride. Surely there isn’t a person alive today who doesn’t hold at least one of his songs in their heart.
