The Majestic Theatre is a historic music and entertainment venue in the heart of downtown San Antonio, just a couple of blocks from the San Antonio River. It’s both the oldest and largest such venue in San Antonio, opening in 1929 and seating over 2,200 people. Orchestra seats on the lower level of the Majestic Theatre are the best seats available. Obviously, the closer to the stage, the better, as some seats toward the back of the Orchestra section will have a less clear view of the performance. Seats in the Mezzanine and Balcony can also offer a great view of the show, especially if they are in the center section and in the first few rows. Foods to Try at the Majestic Theatre

A full-service bar is open during every performance at the Majestic Theater. However, food other than assorted candy is limited. Also, visitors aren’t able to bring in any outside food to the theater. However, there is a wide variety of restaurants in downtown San Antonio within walking distance of the venue. For example, The Palm San Antonio, which is located across the street, offers steak and other high-end entrees. Market on Houston, which is also across the street from the Majestic Theatre, offers a farm-to-table menu. One block down from the theater are two Mexican restaurants: Zocalo Mio and Acenar Mexican Restaurant.
