About Kia Center

Amway Center

The Amway center is considered to be one of the most technologically advanced complexes in the world. So if you’re in Orlando looking for something to do other than the Epcot center or Disney World, you might want to swing by and see this technological marvel with your own eyes.

Home to the NBA’s Orlando Magic, the Amway Center opened on October 1, 2010, and was referred to as the “Triple Crown for Downtown”. Over the years. The venue has hosted basketball tournaments as well as the UFC but it’s open to all sorts of events such as NBA games, NCAA basketball, and of course concerts.

The center hosts hockey games that can hold up to 17,353 fans and can adjust to seat 17,192 fans during football matchups. This Center has seen its fair share of musical talent come through its doors, too. The Eagles, Barry Manilow, Chris Young, Pink, and even Guns N Roses have all performed at Amway Center.

What’s So Special About the Amway Center?

This Center is an architectural marvel offing high-resolution technology to fans during any sporting event. 18 television screens and 2,100 feet of digital ribbon boards surround the entire Amway Center seating area. Fans can watch motion graphics alongside real-time content, while closed captioning is provided for the hearing impaired. Visitors to the Amway Center are also greeted with more than 5,000 LED sticks that work as a video display that reaches millions of people passing by the Center.
