The McKale Center is an indoor sports venue that’s located on the campus of the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. It first opened in 1974 and primarily serves as the home court of the Arizona Wildcats college basketball, volleyball, and gymnastics teams. The arena is named after J.F. “Pop” McKale, who was the athletic director at Arizona from 1914 to 1957 and also coached football, basketball, and baseball at Arizona.
