The Majestic Theatre is a historic music and entertainment venue in the heart of downtown San Antonio, just a couple of blocks from the San Antonio River. It’s both the oldest and largest such venue in San Antonio, opening in 1929 and seating over 2,200 people. The theater is listed as a National Historic Landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Orchestra seats on the lower level of the Majestic Theatre are the best seats available. Obviously, the closer to the stage, the better, as some seats toward the back of the Orchestra section will have a less clear view of the performance.
