The History of Conte Forum
Built in 1988, this venue’s full name is the Silvio O. Conte Forum, named after an alumnus and former United States Congressman. It’s usually just referred to as Conte Forum, or even just Conte, though the ice rink is known as Kelley Rink after a famous and beloved university coach. It became the largest indoor venue for the college when it was constructed and is a popular choice for not just university events but many music and comedy concerts as well.
