Welsh-Ryan Arena is a college sports complex located on the outskirts of the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Illinois. The venue, opened in 1952, serves as the home of Northwestern’s basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams. It first opened with the name McGaw Memorial Hall but was renamed in 1983 after an extensive renovation. While it’s one of the smallest venues in the Big Ten, Welsh-Ryan Arena received another renovation in 2017 and 2018 to help modernize the facilities. For basketball games, Welsh-Ryan Arena currently has a capacity of just over 7,000 fans.

Seats in the Wilson Club section of Welsh-Ryan Arena offer the best seats in the venue. This section is located at mid-court of the lower level, opposite the team benches.
