SZA SOS Tour Schedule, Tickets, and Tips
Coming off her first no. 1 single on the Billboard charts earlier this year, SZA continues to take the music world by storm. Not only is she being featured on magazine covers, but she’s also taking her music straight to her fans with her SOS Tour. The tour began in February and became an instant hit. SZA tickets have proven to be so popular that additional dates have been added to help extend the tour and give fans more opportunities to see SZA perform. Even with the SOS Tour starting to wind down, let’s take a closer look at the remaining dates, what fans can expect from the show, and how they can get their hands on SZA concert tickets.
Where is the Tour Going?
In the middle of October, SZA will find herself in the state of Texas on back-to-back nights, performing in Houston on October 14 and San Antonio on October 15. She then starts to head west to Denver and Salt Lake City on October 18 and 19, respectively. SZA will reach the West Coast on October 22 for the first of two back-to-back shows at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. This leg of the tour will conclude toward the end of October with shows in San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Phoenix.
More on the Way
Don’t worry too much if you don’t live near any of the cities left on SZA’s current tour. With her album SOS being certified platinum three times over, SZA is going to release a deluxe version of the album. She’s also considering another leg of the SOS tour to coincide with the release of the deluxe album, which will be called Lana and feature between seven and 10 songs. Dates and cities aren’t yet known, but SZA has indicated that she would like to return to some of the cities on the SOS tour that embraced her the most. That means cities like Chicago, Detroit, Boston, New York, Atlanta, San Diego, Seattle, Miami, and Philadelphia are all possibilities for SZA’s rumored mini-tour.
Of course, SZA’s tour isn’t the only way for fans to see her perform in the upcoming months. In December, she will be part of two iHeartRadio Jingle Ball shows. The first is at Madison Square Garden in New York on December 8. The other one is two days later, on December 10, at TD Garden in Boston. While not technically a part of her SOS tour, there will be plenty of opportunities for fans to check out SZA between now and the end of the year.
What to Expect on the Setlist
Fans who are able to make it to SZA’s upcoming tour dates won’t be disappointed. While the album has 23 songs on it, the setlist for the SOS Tour features 33 songs, including the encore. SZA begins the show with the song “PSA,” which is a bonus track on the SOS album. Throughout the show, she performs her hit singles from the SOS album. Of course, fans have to wait for the end of the show until SZA gets to hits like “Snooze,” “Kill Bill,” and “I Hate U.” SZA also busts out some of the hit songs from her first album, including “Love Galore,” “Broken Clocks,” and “Garden.” She then closes the show with her hit song “The Weekend” before returning for her encore with “Good Days.”
Special Guests?
Despite having no problem carrying a show all on her own, SZA has brought along plenty of help on the SOS Tour. From one night to the next, there’s no way to be sure who will show up. But it’s a safe bet that SZA will have someone special joining her. For the final leg of the tour, D4vd, who is still a teenager best known for his song “Romantic Homicide,” is serving as the opening act for SZA. But on top of the opening act, the likes of Cardi B, Lizzo, Summer Walker, Phoebe Bridgers, and Travis Scott have all made guest appearances, joining SZA for at least one song. There’s no doubt that SZA will have a special guest or two lined up for the remaining dates of her SOS Tour.
How to Get the Best Deals on Tickets
With the SOS Tour winding down, tickets for the remaining shows are in high demand. That’s what happens when an artist has a No. 1 album and draws rave reviews with an amazing stage show that complements SZA’s vocal performance perfectly. Fortunately, there are still ways to get tickets to see SZA at an affordable price.
For starters, the stage show on the SOS Tour is so good that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. You don’t have to be in the front row to have a great experience, so there’s nothing wrong with going after the cheapest tickets available. Also, it’s usually a good idea to wait until a day or two before the concert to buy tickets. This is typically when prices drop because ticket holders who can’t go become more eager to unload their tickets. For most shows, this is the time to strike, allowing fans to find a great deal on last-minute tickets, even for an artist as in demand as SZA.
