For music fans, the BottleRock Festival might be the best event that you don’t know about, especially if you’re also a wine lover. The festival has only been around since 2013, so it’s still relatively new. However, it’s created a serious following in Napa Valley and elsewhere in a short period of time, which isn’t surprising when you consider the amazing acts that have graced the stage. When and Where is the BottleRock Festival
The 2022 BottleRock Festival is scheduled to take place between Friday, May 27 and Sunday, May 29. As usual, the three-day festival is being hosted at the Napa Valley Expo in Napa, California. There will be three stages and roughly 60 performers over the course of those three days. Meanwhile, dozens of wineries from Napa Valley and other wine hotbeds will also be participating, allowing the BottleRock Festival to live up to its name for providing the perfect balance between music and wine.
Friday Lineup
Heavy metal legends Metallica and Norwegian DJ Kygo are the music headliners on Friday at the BottleRock Festival. Naturally, those aren’t the only acts taking on the stage to help jumpstart the festival. Spoon, Marcus King, Skip Marley, and others are also scheduled to perform on Friday.
Saturday Lineup
On Saturday night, the Black Crowes and Twenty One Pilots will close out the festivities as the headlining acts. Earlier in the day, Silversun Pickups, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Grandmaster Flash, and the Napa Valley Youth Symphony are also set to perform. Lovers of hip-hop will also want to keep their eye on Mount Westmore, a group that features Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and others.
Sunday Lineup
The BottleRock Festival comes to an end on Sunday, with Pink and Luke Combs taking the stage to end the weekend with a bank. However, Sunday afternoon will also feature some unmissable acts, including Pitbull, Alessia Cara, Bleachers, Fancy Joy, Aly & AJ, Amos Lee, and many others scheduled to perform.
Food and Drink
While music and wine are the highlights of the BottleRock Festival, don’t forget that there is great cuisine available as well. After all, the food in Napa Valley is sometimes just as good as the wine. Traveling to the Festival
Once you have your BottleRock Festival tickets, you’ll want to make plans for getting to the Napa Valley Expo. There is both general admission parking available and street parking in downtown Napa. Just keep in mind that overnight parking isn’t allowed. The festival is also offering daily bus service from San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Sonoma, Mill Valley, Sacramento, Fairfield, Santa Rosa, and Palo Alto, making it easy for anyone from the areas around Napa Valley to get to the festival. There are also free rides and late-night services on Napa’s VINE Transit. That includes service to BART for anyone in the Bay Area. The BottleRock Festival also encourages car-pooling and ride-sharing for anyone coming to the festival from outside Northern California or the Bay Area.
