Your Guide to the 2023 Las Vegas Residency Shows

Most people tend to only think about gambling when they think about Las Vegas. However, Las Vegas is also one of the great entertainment capitals of the world, as many musicians and performers literally take up residency in Sin City for extended periods of time. Rather than going out on tour, performers let the fans come to them when they visit Las Vegas. As usual, 2023 is expected to be a big year for performers in Vegas, so let’s check out some of the top artists and performers who are doing a Las Vegas residency this year.

Katy Perry

During her career, Kate Perry has had nearly a dozen no. 1 hits, gone on world tours, and amassed one of the biggest social media followings of any celebrity. Starting in 2021, she took a break from touring and started a Las Vegas residency. That residency will continue in 2023 at The Theatre at Resorts World. Things will kick off in mid-February, with Perry’s latest residency running until the middle of April.

Luke Bryan

Country music fans should be flocking to Vegas in 2023 for a few reasons, although Luke Bryan’s residency at The Theatre at Resorts World will likely be the biggest. That’s where Bryan will be calling home between February 1 and April 1. Even though he hasn’t released an album of new music since 2020, Bryan has produced more than enough hit songs on his previous half-dozen albums to keep folks in Las Vegas entertained night after night for his two-month residency.

Maroon 5

For whatever reason, Maroon 5 seems like the perfect band to have a residency in Vegas. Lead singer Adam Levine is the type of showman that always finds his way to Vegas. Dolby Live at the Park MGM will host Maroon 5 in 2023. The band’s residency begins the last week of March and will continue off and on through August.

Rod Stewart

The legendary Rod Stewart has been making his home in Las Vegas for quite a while. His residency show titled The Hits has been happening off and on at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace since 2011. Each show features 20 of the best songs of his career. He returns to Vegas starting in May, with his shows going until November.

Miranda Lambert

As mentioned, country fans will have a lot of fun in Vegas in 2023. Miranda Lambert is another reason why. Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood will have the honor of hosting several country artists, including Lambert. The Grammy winner released a new album last year, so she brings new material to Vegas, although her residency will only last from March 24 to April 9. However, she’ll return in July for a few more shows.

Santana

Led by its legendary namesake, Santana is the type of band you expect to do a Las Vegas residency. Fittingly, the House of Blues will host Santana during its extended residency this year. The band will be there starting in January until May.

Keith Urban

As mentioned, Zappos Theater will be the place for country fans visiting Vegas this year. Part of the lineup will include Keith Urban, who toured in 2022 but will let his fans come to him in Las Vegas in 2023. He’ll be in Las Vegas during the second half of March and then again during the second half of June, so he’ll have two stints in Vegas during his residency.

Bruno Mars

There’s probably no better place to see Bruno Mars perform than Las Vegas. Doesn’t he seem like the kind of artist to step up his game even more in a setting like that? Fans have a chance to find out for themselves at Dolby Live at the Park MGM. He’ll be there in late January and extend his stay through March.

Usher

The folks in Vegas are always ready to dance and have a good time, which is why Usher is one of the perfect artists to have a residency there. Usher has had a couple of extended stays in Vegas before, and it’s no surprise why he keeps getting invited back. This time around, it’ll be the Dolby Live Theater at the Park MGM that hosts Usher. The best part is that fans will have plenty of opportunities to catch Usher on the stage. He’ll arrive in late February and stay through the end of April with more than a dozen shows. Usher will then return in late June and early July for the second part of his 2023 residency.

Adele

Unfortunately, Adele had to cancel her planned 2022 residency because the show wasn’t ready. However, Weekends with Adele is getting another chance in 2023 at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. Naturally, expectations will be high following the delay, but if there’s anyone who can deliver, it’s Adele. Fortunately, anyone who had tickets to one of the original shows can still use those tickets, but more tickets will be available as well. Adele will be performing every weekend in January, February, and March, creating plenty of opportunities to see her.
