Plans change—and Gametime’s resale system is designed to make that easier for fans. If you purchase tickets through Gametime and can no longer attend, Gametime provides a secure way to relist eligible tickets directly within the platform. This closed resale system protects buyers and sellers alike while keeping inventory accurate and trustworthy.
Who Can Resell Tickets on Gametime
Gametime’s resale system is intentionally limited to maintain trust and reliability. Only:
- Fans who originally purchased tickets on Gametime, and
- Verified sellers already approved on the platform
are able to list tickets for resale. This approach ensures traceability, reduces fraud risk, and helps buyers feel confident that resale tickets are legitimate and properly delivered.
When Tickets Are Eligible for Resale
If you purchased your tickets through Gametime, you can list them for resale as long as the event is at least 6 hours away. Listings remain eligible for sale up until 6 hours before the event start time.
Some ticket types are not eligible for resale and will not appear as an option in the app, including:
- Zone Deal tickets
- Super Bowl tickets
- Tickets for postponed or rescheduled events
- Certain restricted ticket types

How to List Tickets for Sale
Relisting tickets on Gametime is designed to be fast and intuitive:

- Tap “Sell” at the bottom of the screen

If your tickets sell, you’ll be notified right away via text.
Payout Timing and Delivery
Once your tickets sell and are successfully delivered to the new buyer, payment is issued 48 hours after the event. Payouts are sent to the PayPal account you provided, creating a clear and reliable settlement process for sellers.
