Taylor Swift Tour Setlist, Surprise Songs & Remaining Dates

In case you haven’t heard, there is a Taylor Swift tour happening this summer, and it’s been amazing. After the incredible demand for tickets when the tour was first announced, Taylor’s The Eras Tour has been a smashing hit, giving Swifties exactly what they want. The purpose of the tour is for Taylor to cover songs from her entire catalog. Plus, there are Taylor Swift surprise songs every night to keep everyone on their toes. The best part is that while the tour has already started, there are plenty of dates left this summer. Let’s take a look at where fans of Taylor can go to see her before The Eras Tour ends and everything we know about what to expect.

What Does the Setlist Look Like?

The setlist for The Eras tour is long in the best way possible. The performance lasts well over three hours because there are 44 songs. Taylor’s performance is divided into 10 acts – although not of equal length – covering each era of her career thus far. The caveat is that the songs aren’t in chronological order.

The show begins with “Miss Americana & the Heartbreak Prince” and five other songs from Taylor’s Lover album. Next are three songs from Fearless and five songs from Evermore, including the hit single “Willow.” Act IV features four songs from Reputation, while the only song in Act V is “Enchanted.” That is followed by four songs from the Red album, concluding with the 10-minute version of “All Too Well.” Somehow, the show is only half over by this point.

Act VII contains songs from Taylor’s Folklore album, ending with the hit single “Cardigan.” Taylor then goes back to 1989 with songs like “Style,” “Wildest Dreams,” and “Bad Blood.” Act IX is Taylor’s two-song acoustic set (more on that later). Finally, the show ends with seven songs from her newest album, Midnights, beginning with “Lavender Haze” and ending with “Karma,” which ends the show.

What Are Taylor’s Surprise Songs?

While a majority of the setlist is the same night after night, there are two surprise songs every night during the acoustic set. On each night of the tour, Taylor chooses two songs to play that she hasn’t previously played on the tour and aren’t part of the usual setlist. This is allowing her to cover her entire catalog during the tour. For fans, it’s just the luck of the draw when it comes to what two songs they’ll hear. Of course, it adds a little bit of drama and uncertainty to the show.

What Cities Are Left?

Even with most of the tour completed by the midway part of June, there are still a lot of cities for Taylor to visit. Keep in mind that in almost every city, Taylor is only performing on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, giving fans in each city more options and making it easier for fans to travel from out of town. Also, Taylor still has a lot of the country left to visit.

On June 16 and 17, she’ll be in Pittsburgh. That’s followed by a stop in Minneapolis on June 23 and 24. Taylor then visits Cincinnati on June 30 and July 1. The following weekend on July 7 and 8, she’ll perform in Kansas City. The next stop is Denver on July 14 and 15, with Seattle scheduled for July 22 and 23. Finally, Taylor arrives in California for two shows at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on July 28 and 29. To wrap up the American leg of the tour, Taylor will perform five shows in seven days at Sofi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The dates for those shows are August 3-5 and 8-9.

Who Are the Opening Acts?

Taylor is bringing several different opening acts along with her on The Eras Tour. Every night, there are two opening acts to help warm up the crowd for Taylor. Sometimes the opening acts change from one night to the next, even at the same venue. However, fans can expect to see some combination of Girl in Red, Owenn, Gracie Abrams, Muna, and Haim during the remaining dates of The Eras Tour.

What to Bring to The Eras Tour

Tickets (1).webp

If you plan on attending any of the shows left on The Eras Tour, make sure you are prepared. For starters, make sure you’re wearing comfortable shoes. There will be a lot of standing and dancing during the show, and nobody will be looking down at your shoes instead of the stage, so just wear a comfortable pair. Next, make sure you are well-hydrated before the concert and bring unopened water bottles if the venue allows. It’ll be easy to get tired during the show, especially if you haven’t had enough water to drink that day.

Needless to say, you’ll want to make sure that your phone is charged ahead of time so you don’t run out of battery while taking photos and videos of you and your friends having the time of your lives. You may also want to consider bringing friendship bracelets with you because fans have been exchanging them with one another throughout the tour. Lastly, make sure you plan on getting to the venue with plenty of time to spare. No matter the venue, the crowd will be huge, traffic could be bad, and it’ll take longer than you think to get to your seat. Even though the show is more than three hours long, you won’t want to miss a second of it.
