About MercyMe
MercyMe Tickets
There aren’t a lot of big crossovers from Christian Contemporary Music to the general charts, but it happens every once in a blue moon. The bands that can cross that barrier deserve all the praise. Good thing they have so much praise already! (Get it?) Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) band MercyMe is one of the few bands that were able to cross this barrier. They did so with the song “I Can Only Imagine,” which, once you’ve heard it, shouldn’t be a surprise. That song came out in 2001, though the band has been together since 1994.
The Praise Team
Some pleasant things come out of grief, like the band MercyMe. Bart Millard, the founder of the band, got the idea after he lost his father to cancer when he was still in college. He found his keyboardist in new friend Jim Bryson, and they started jamming together and preaching their ministry. It wasn’t until they spent some time in Oklahoma City, then Dallas, that the duo added Mike Scheuchzer, Nathan Cochran, and Robby Shaffer to their ranks. That was in 1997, a few years before they signed with a major album.
MercyMe at the Henderson Baptist Church
Before they had dreams of being on the radio, the band played Sundays for their local Baptist church. It was there that they got their practice and built their musical chemistry, with the support of other believers. During that time, they put out six independent albums, mostly bough by local churchgoers and people in the community. Finally, in 2001, the record label INO took notice of them and signed them to a contract. Their debut album, Almost There, topped the Christian charts, and gave us the hit song “I Can Only Imagine.” The group sees their music as their ministry to god and would love for you to be a part of it.

How much are MercyMe floor seats?
The best way to see MercyMe live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $63 to $93, and if you’re seeing MercyMe at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.
Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting MercyMe ticket prices on floor seats, and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait.
