About Old Dominion
Old Dominion Tickets
There’s nothing old about the band Old Dominion. They’ve only been on the country scene since the mid-twenty-teens, and their members aren’t “old” either. So why pick the name Old Dominion? You’d have to ask the band yourself. However, they picked their band name, it’s done well for them, and we can’t imagine the foursome called any other way. Our radios are better with them on it, and we can’t wait to see what they put out next.
The Not Old, Old Dominion
The band is made up of five friends, who mostly hail from the great state of Virginia. Matt Ramsey is the lead singer, Geoff Sprung helps with vocals and the bass, Whit Sellers plays the drums, Brad Tursi plays guitar, and non-Virginian Trevor Rosen helps with guitar, keyboard, and vocals.
Each band member is multi-talented, as you can see. And other than make their roles hard to describe, that’s something that lends to the soothing but interesting sound of their music. When you learn that three of their band members have written successful country songs for artists like The Band Perry, Keith Urban, and Luke Bryan, it makes sense that their first song charted at number one. That song, “Break Up With Him,” is one of their most popular hits – ever.
Meat and Candy
They released their debut album, titled Meat and Candy, in November of 2016. It did well, with several singles going certified platinum. They followed up on that success by releasing their sophomore album, Happy Endings, not even a year later, with similar results.
The hit “Written in the Sand” was their fifth platinum-certified song – and it was only from their second album! It seems that when it comes to hit singles, this band knows what sells. Those singles, plus the ones they’ve recorded since, are big hits at their concerts – so expect to scream-sing along.

How much are Old Dominion floor seats?
The best way to see Old Dominion live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $70 to $200, and if you’re seeing Old Dominion at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.
Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting Old Dominion ticket prices on floor seats, and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait.
