About KISS
KISS Tickets
While the band members of KISS would probably object to being called the fathers of anything, they deserve credit for the pop-metal sound they influenced in the ’80s and through the ’90s.
That’s to say, they set the stage for a new kind of metal, one that’s more accessible than what was on the scene before, but no less cool. Speaking of coolness, KISS has that in spades. Ask anyone! They haven’t put out new music in almost ten years, but people (including young people, born during their rise to fame) still dress like the members for Halloween.
The Formation of Something Great
To put together a band like KISS, who can put on legendary live shows, you need a vision. And Gene Simmons (not to be confused with Richard Simmons) had a strong one. He saw a band that could not only produce in-your-face metal music but one that could put on theater-type or at least theatric live shows. To do it, he knew he needed to recruit the best of the best, but he needed help. He put out an add for bandmates in Rolling Stone and in “The Village Voice,” a New-York newspaper.
He already had Paul Stanley on board, and the ads cinched the other two members, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley. Together, they made a band. And an almost immediately-successful group at that. They played their first live show in Manhattan in 1973 and got a band management contract right after that. It was only two weeks later that they signed to the famous metal label, Casablanca.
The Kiss Army
The band has quite a fan base. And while Lady Gaga calls hers the monsters and Beyonce calls hers the Beyhive, Kiss calls their fans the “Kiss Army.” And if they wanted to take over (and could get organized), they might have a chance. There are hundreds of thousands of them in the US alone.
FAQs
How much are KISS tickets?
That’s a loaded question! KISS ticket prices will differ depending on the source and the seats. The best price for KISS tickets is usually between $50 to $90 a ticket, and that’s for nosebleed seats! If you want floor seats, or if you’re shopping for tickets at a popular venue, you could easily be looking at a few hundred dollars more.
How to buy KISS tickets?
With demand at a peak, KISS ticket prices are going to be pretty high if purchased directly from the box office. That means the best way to buy cheap KISS tickets is online through a ticket marketplace. Ticket marketplaces like Gametime are perfect because they put you in contact with resellers looking to move seats at a relative bargain. It’s the safest and most affordable way to get the best price for KISS tickets.

You never know what’s going to happen at a KISS concert, but here’s the average tour setlist:
- Rock and Roll
- Detroit Rock City
- Shout It Out Loud
- Deuce
- Say Yeah
- I Love It Loud
- Heaven's on Fire
- War Machine
- Lick It Up

How long is a KISS concert?
With such an epic setlist, you can expect KISS’s performance to last for around 90 minutes. When you take opening acts into account, you’re looking at two to three hours of entertainment.
How much are KISS floor seats?
The best way to see KISS live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $60 to $200, and if you’re seeing KISS at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.
Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting KISS ticket prices on floor seats, and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait. Waiting until the last minute can get you some great discounts because resellers with unsold seats don’t make any money. Wait it out and watch those prices drop to something more affordable, and then enjoy your floor seats!
