About Odesza

ODESZA Tickets

Electronic music has so many sub-genres that saying someone is an electronic artist is like saying someone is a “guitar player”. It could mean anything! There’s hardcore EDM, dance-based electronica, dubstep, chillstep, and even more. The music duo, ODESZA, has made the slower side of electronica their own, by defining it however they want and changing their definition with every song.

Some people describe their music as indie EDM, while others stick to the more traditional chillstep or EDM label. Whatever you call their music, it’s hard not to love it.  The two friends from Seattle put their hearts into their tracks, and it has paid off, bigtime.

Starting at the Beginning

A lot of people who end up making EDM start off as fans. That’s the case for the two friends that make up ODESZA, Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight. Though you may know them better as their DJ names, Catacombkid and Beaches Beaches.

The two met at Western Washington University and started making music together (instead of just listening to it) in their senior year, around 2012. Once they’d finished their education and gotten graduating out of the way, they focused on what really mattered to them – getting their debut album out. The did it within their first year as a group and called it “Summer’s Gone”.

Pretty Lights

Though they hadn’t been making music together long, it seemed the two friends got the hang of it pretty fast. They put out an EP just a year later, which led to them booking a spot on tour with Pretty Lights. That slot gave them enough exposure to go on a tour of their own another year later. They’re using their fame for good, now, too.

When they’re not making music, they’re helping up and coming musicians through their “Foreign Family Collective”, giving them the platform to find their big break. You’re likely to see one of those Family Collective artists on tour with them if you snag tickets, that is.

FAQs

How much are ODESZA tickets?

ODESZA ticket prices will differ depending on the source and the seats. The best price for ODESZA tickets is usually around $41 a ticket, and that’s for nosebleed seats! If you want floor seats, or if you’re shopping for tickets at a popular venue, you could easily be looking at a few hundred dollars more.

How to buy ODESZA tickets?

ODESZA ticket prices are going to be pretty high if purchased directly from the box office. That means the best way to buy cheap ODESZA tickets is online through a ticket marketplace. Ticket marketplaces like Gametime are perfect because they put you in contact with resellers looking to move seats at a relative bargain. It’s the safest and most affordable way to get the best price for ODESZA tickets.

What’s ODESZA tour setlist?

You never know what’s going to happen at an ODESZA concert, but here’s the average tour setlist:

  • Intro (A Moment Apart)
  • Bloom
  • Say My Name
  • The Loco-Motion
  • Late Night
  • One Day They'll Know (Pretty Lights cover)

How long is a ODESZA concert?

With such an epic setlist, you can expect ODESZA’s performance to last for around 90 minutes, from start to finish.

How much are ODESZA floor seats?

The best way to see ODESZA live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $56 to $350, and if you’re seeing ODESZA at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.

Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting ODESZA ticket prices on floor seats, and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait. Waiting until the last minute can get you some great discounts because resellers with unsold seats don’t make any money. Wait it out and watch those prices drop to something more affordable, and then enjoy your floor seats!
