About Heart
Heart Tickets
Heart: with a history dating back more than 50 years and a legacy of incredible hits, fantastic financial success, and bitter, dramatic rivalries, there’s no other band that exemplifies the hard rock lifestyle of the late 20th and early 21st century. This world-famous band, with its worldwide record sales of more than 35 million (22.5 million of those in the US alone), top ten albums across four decades, and its induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is still making music today!
Humble Beginnings to Major Success
Founded in 1967 in Seattle, Washington, and then relocating to Vancouver, Canada, to avoid the Vietnam draft, before its biggest stars, sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson joined up in 1973, Heart consisted of Steve Fossen, Roger Fisher, David Belzer, and Jeff Johnson. The band’s makeup has changed drastically since then, but the Wilsons have been the face of Heart since they began getting major air time in the mid-1970s thanks to hits like Magic Man and Crazy on You. The late 70s saw even more interest, with hits like Barracuda paving the way for even more success, with the blistering, iconic vocals of Ann Wilson riveting audiences.
The Eighties and Nineties
The 1980s were a mixed bag for Heart, characterized by weak single releases but strong album performances and a solid reputation for fantastic live shows. Internal shakeups saw both the band’s makeup change in 1985 as Heart defected to Capitol Records, resulting in a glam metal makeover that saw the Wilsons spearheading the charge into renewed success. The next decade was a bit weird though, with Heart going on hiatus while the sisters pursued side projects and took breaks to start families.
Today’s Heart Beats On
The Wilsons got together once more in 2002, again with a new band lineup, and went back to work as Heart. They’ve been rocking hard and fast ever since, touring and gaining accolades left and right, all while being their usual occasional hiatus to recover and regroup. Yet Heart is still beating strong.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much are Heart tickets?
Heart ticket prices will differ depending on the source and the seats. The best price for Heart tickets is usually around $49 a ticket, and that’s for nosebleed seats! If you want floor seats, or if you’re shopping for tickets at a popular venue, you could easily be looking at a few hundred dollars more.
How to buy Heart tickets?
Heart ticket prices are going to be pretty high if purchased directly from the box office. That means the best way to buy cheap Heart tickets is online through a ticket marketplace. Ticket marketplaces like Gametime are perfect because they put you in contact with resellers looking to move seats at a relative bargain. It’s the safest and most affordable way to get the best price for Heart tickets.
What’s Heart tour setlist?
You never know what’s going to happen at a Heart concert, but here’s the average tour setlist:
- Rockin' Heaven Down
- Magic Man
- Love Alive
- Your Move
- I Heard It Through the Grapevine / Straight On
- The Boxer
- These Dreams
- Dog & Butterfly
- Little Queen
- Even It Up
- What About Love
- Mistral Wind
- Barracuda
- Crazy on You
How long is a Heart concert?
With such an epic setlist, you can expect Heart’s performance to last for around 90 minutes, from start to finish. When you take opening acts into account, you’re looking at two to three hours of entertainment.
How much are Heart floor seats?
The best way to see Heart live is up close and personal from the floor, but these seats are always super expensive. The cheap end of floor seats can easily be $72 to $119, and if you’re seeing Heart at a venue with stage pit seats it could be even more pricey.
Of course, there are ways around this. There’s a great strategy for cutting Heart ticket prices on floor seats and the best part is that it requires you to do literally nothing but wait. Waiting until the last minute can get you some great discounts because resellers with unsold seats don’t make any money. Wait it out and watch those prices drop to something more affordable, and then enjoy your floor seats!
