Nippert Stadium is a Cincinnati institution. Existing in some form or another for more than a hundred years, the field was first put to use in 1901. More permanent seating was added in 1915, and it was turned into a lovely horseshoe stadium in 1924. It has some nice honors as a result, making it the fifth-oldest stadium in college football for one, but it has, of course, been updated and expanded over the decades to keep it as modern as possible! There have been more than half a dozen major refurbishments to keep the place in fighting shape.
