The History of iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre
Opened in 1996, this venue has gone through more than its fair share of name changes thanks to naming rights agreements and the occasional Chapter 11 bankruptcy. It’s been known as Mars Music Amphitheatre and also Sound Advice Amphitheatre, with the latter being maybe the best music-based pun ever. It’s also been Cruzan Amphitheatre and, distressingly, the Perfect Vodka Amphitheatre at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Thankfully that nonsense came to an end in 2017 and the venue regained its original name, which it will (hopefully) keep for the foreseeable future.
