About Dos Equis Pavilion

Dos Equis Pavilion

Located just east of downtown Dallas in the Fair Park entertainment complex, the Dos Equis Pavilion is one of the largest outdoor amphitheaters in the region. With a capacity of 20,000, this venue has hosted countless big-name music acts over the more than three decades it’s been open to the public, and there are no signs that this will stop anytime soon!

History of the Dos Equis Pavilion

Built-in 1988, the Dos Equis Pavilion has done one thing and done it well: hosted amazing concerts. Over the 30-plus years, it’s been in operation, this outdoor amphitheater has undergone more than half a dozen name changes, ranging from the Coca-Cola Starplex when it first opened. In fact, “Starplex” was part of its name in three different iterations, and while Dos Equis might have its name on the marquee today it’s still often referred to as The Starplex by locals in the know.

What Makes Dos Equis Pavilion Events So Special?

The Dos Equis Pavilion is a perfect venue. A massive canopy covers the first 7,500 seats, while the expansive lawn offers room for another 12,500, making it impossible to get a bad seat.
