Built-in 1988, the Dos Equis Pavilion has done one thing and done it well: hosted amazing concerts. Over the 30-plus years, it’s been in operation, this outdoor amphitheater has undergone more than half a dozen name changes, ranging from the Coca-Cola Starplex when it first opened. In fact, “Starplex” was part of its name in three different iterations, and while Dos Equis might have its name on the marquee today it’s still often referred to as The Starplex by locals in the know.
