The History of Disch-Falk Field
Originally opened in 1975 to act as a replacement for Clark Field, which had housed university baseball since the 1920s, Disch-Falk Field was named for two of the school’s most legendary baseball coaches, Billy Disch and Bibb Falk. Updated regularly over the nearly 50 years its been in use, this ball field was officially renamed the UFCU Disch-Falk Field in 2006 when University Federal Credit Union, a credit union local to the school, sponsored one of its most recent renovations.
