How to Score the Best Ducks Ticket Prices This Season

While the Anaheim Ducks have endured plenty of highs and lows during their time as a franchise, they are gearing up for yet another compelling season on the ice at the Honda Center. Whether you’re a die-hard Ducks fan who wants to attend every game, a casual supporter who makes it to a few games per season, or you’re unfamiliar with hockey but willing to give it a chance, you’ll be glad to know that Ducks ticket prices are among the best in the NHL. Here’s a rundown of all of the ways you can get your hands on cheap Ducks tickets this season.

Use the Secondary Market

While the Ducks offer long-term ticket plans, fans who are only looking to buy Ducks tickets one game at a time should be encouraged to use the secondary market. There is no shortage of options when it comes to buying tickets online with tickets available for a wide variety of prices and in nearly every part of the Honda Center. In fact, the Ducks have some of the most affordable tickets on the secondary market of any NHL team. No matter what game you prefer to attend or when you’ve available to go, getting Ducks tickets on the secondary market is easy to do and won’t break the bank.

Let Patience Pay Off

If you’re looking for the most competitive Ducks ticket prices, your best bet could be waiting until 48 hours until the start of the game. This is when any tickets on the secondary market that remain unsold start to decrease in price, even if the selection is not as great. You can try waiting until the day of the game to buy tickets. The last hour or two before the start of the game is often the time when you can find the best Ducks ticket prices. That won’t always be the case, especially for the bigger games, but fans who decide to go to a Ducks game at the last minute usually get a great deal.

Choose the Right Day

You should also keep in mind that games on Tuesday and Thursday will typically be the cheapest. Weekend games are always in high demand, especially Sunday games, so Ducks ticket prices are unlikely to come down too much, even on the day of the game. Meanwhile, Wednesday games are more likely to be a rivalry matchup that will be accompanied by more expensive Ducks ticket prices. This isn’t always the case, but it is a trend the NHL likes to follow. That leaves Tuesday and Thursday as your best bet to score cheap tickets to a Ducks game.

In the Fall

If you want to increase your chances of finding the best Ducks ticket prices on the secondary market, try getting to a game early in the season. Obviously, that doesn’t mean the team’s opener, which is always in high demand. However, if the Ducks are in the playoff hunt, ticket demand will be high during the second half of the season, making cheap tickets hard to find. On the contrary, games earlier in the season should come with more ticket options. While it can be enticing to enjoy the Southern California weather in fall months like November and December, this is the best time to find affordable Ducks tickets.

Promo Nights

When looking at Ducks ticket prices on the secondary market, it’s important to keep in mind some of the promotional nights the team host during the season. The Ducks have no shortage of giveaway and promotional nights during their 41-game home schedule. While tickets to these games can sometimes cost a little more on the secondary market, getting a free gift as you walk in the door gives you a little more bang for your buck. Among the special nights and free giveaways are a free gravy boat that’s given out on November 25, right before Thanksgiving, a Star Wars Night in December that includes a limited edition shirt, Country Night in January that includes a Josh Manson BobBULL Head, and Angels Night in January that features a limited edition shirt.

The Ducks also offer special packages that are available throughout the season. For every home game, families can purchase a Family Pack, which includes four tickets to the game, four slices of pizza from the concession stand, and four sodas that have unlimited refills. This package is available for as little as $22 per ticket. There is also a Bud Light Beer Pack, which is available for every home game outside of Saturday and Sunday games. For as little as $22 per ticket, fans can purchase two tickets to see the game and two 24-ounce domestic beers from stadium concessions.
